Meet the Team
My team is professional, caring, articulate, and respectful. Each member truly enjoys their career and shares my passion for providing exceptional, personalized dentistry.
We have very little staff turnover and have worked side by side for so long that we are a family: that closeness allows us to maintain a warm and stable environment, where we are able to focus on each patient, personally, and ensure they feel safe, heard, and valued.

Anna
Office Manager
I started as a dental assistant, then completed a dental hygiene program and worked as a hygienist, and now I am an office manager. I appreciate my current role, as it allows me to interact with patients on the administrative and clinical sides of the practice.
I welcome and check in patients, answer calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and coordinate treatment. I also handle insurance verification, claims, and follow-up, and billing.
Dr. Frerichs truly loves his profession and really cares about each patient. That is true for the team, as well. We help each other so we’re able to provide the best care to our patient family.
Outside the office, I keep busy. I have a son, a stepson, and Theo, my mini Goldendoodle. I spend my free time with family and friends and love to travel to warm and sunny places.
Kim
Dental Assistant
I started working in the dental field in 1998. I attended the dental assisting program at Parkland College and completed the certificate program.
As an assistant, I prepare rooms, seat patients, and get them ready for their procedure. Working chairside, I assist Dr. Frerichs while supporting our patient, and when finished I clean and sterilize the treatment area and equipment.
I enjoy helping others and being part of a practice that helps patients achieve and keep healthy smiles.
Lisa
Dental Assistant and Office Manager
I have been in the dental field since 2002. It is rewarding to see and help our patient family in the front office and the clinic: connecting with and building real friendships during visits.
I love our office environment. Getting to see our patients on a regular basis lets us catch up on their lives and see their growing families. Not many people can work with their spouses, but I respect and appreciate Jeff’s talent and his ability to make people smile.
Our team truly cares about our patients and their dental health. Our team cares about each other, too, and we support each other in and out of the office.
Jeff and I are so lucky to have found each other. We try to live our life to fullest with our two sons, Matthew and Michael. Our family spends a lot of time in the Bahamas and at Disney: our two favorite vacation destinations. When I’m not in the office, I stay involved in our kids’ activities, substitute teach, read, bake chocolate chip cookies, keep our family organized, and find time for a puzzle now and then. We are blessed!
Sara L.
Licensed Dental Hygienist
I started in the dental field in 2003 and hold an AAS from Parkland College in the dental hygiene program. In 2004, I found my professional home here. I enjoy building relationships with everyone who comes to our office and knowing I have a positive impact on their oral health.
I screen patients to check their overall oral health and provide helpful information so people learn how to improve and maintain their dental wellness. I also remove plaque and calculus from teeth, perform fluoride treatments, and take radiographs and impressions.
Dr. Frerichs and our team are amazing. Everyone is eager to help and support one another and there are regular expressions of concern for each other both in and out of the office.
My husband, two teen boys, our dog Guinness (aka G-Dawg), and I live in Saint Joseph. When we’re not cheering on our kids’ soccer teams, we can usually be found working on some DIY project at home. I also like getting away to visit extended family in the US and Canada.
Trina
Dental Hygienist
I have an associate’s degree from Parkland College, have continued my education at EIU, and started in the field in 1996. When I was welcomed to this practice, in 2004, I knew I’d found the right place: everyone is friendly, professional, and caring. I love getting to know my patients and their families, while helping them develop healthy smiles.
I provide routine dental hygiene care, including cleanings. A lot of my focus is on dental education, so patients understand why it’s important to care for their oral health and how to do it, so they have a lifetime of healthy smiles.
We really are a great team, working together for the best outcome for our patient family. We care about each other and every patient.
I’ve been married for over 20 years and have two teen daughters. I love church, supporting our daughters in their many extracurricular activities, and being with friends. We are blessed with a great immediate and extended family.
